My colleague has just passed me a copy of your article in Tuesday’s “Sun”. I run the Michael Stone website. While both Michael Stone and myself have nothing but sympathy for Dr Shaun Russell, Mr Stone has nothing to apologise for and nothing concerning the Chillenden murders to face up to. This case is now the longest running miscarriage of justice in Britain, Stone having spent nine years in gaol for heinous crimes on the word of a heroin addict and self-confessed liar who once tried to phone his own dead mother. Stone’s new legal team are hard at work even as we speak, and when this case eventually returns to the Court of Appeal it will leave a stench that will be detected even in your Wapping rat hole.
