The Daily Mirror – or The Mirror as it was known transiently – has more than one edition. The cuttings herein were sent to the current writer by Michael Stone from his prison cell. The edition of the paper I consulted at the Newspaper Library had a slightly different layout. The important thing is that the paper contained an article about Josie Russell attending an identification parade (where she failed to pick out Stone) AND two references to “paupers” in separate articles.
